Hemant realized that the Sanatan community (Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and a few others) is facing difficulty in finding products and services that fully align with their religious beliefs. With his extensive and diverse experience, he also learned that traditional donation and volunteerism-based activism have their limits. He believes, “It is our fundamental right to choose what to eat, what not to eat, whom to marry, and from whom to shop.”He developed a Sanatan business model where members are charged for online services, and the profits are reinvested into Sanatan causes. The idea for Sanatan (Hindu) Matrimonial, the Hindu Business Search Engine, and Hindu certification was born from his strong technical background and a deep desire to provide trustworthy, reliable, and dependable services to the Sanatan community. These services aim to support and fulfill some of the Sanatan Dharma beliefs and practices.
